And so it begins…. badly

The Whitehouse.gov  website has deleted all references to “climate change” as well as the information pages devoted to the topic which existed during the Obama years. Now we know for sure the insane level of denial and ignorance we will be dealing with for the next four years.

To all who marched today and will do so tomorrow, thank you for your service to our democracy!!!!!!

  1. Dear Lisa,

    I always appreciate your posts.

The pages are still accessible here:

They focus on Obama’s accomplishments in fighting climate change. My initial reaction was the same as yours, but I think we need to be careful. I can understand how any incoming administration might chose to create its own site–how the incoming leadership might want to replace a site that is focused on the former leader’s accomplishments.

That being said–we cannot let the progress that has been made be reversed.

What concerns me much more is the utter lack of kindness, empathy, or wisdom in his inaugration speech, the mindset and intention behind the cabinet selections,…

    Warmly,
    Mark

    • Climate disruption is a real and present danger. It is not a “archivable” event. Sadly, Trump is the least of America’s worries. The Republican party is the greatest threat to liberty, equality and collective well-being of this nation.
